The whole of August would be commemorated as Children's Eye Health & Safety Month
Vision plays an important role in children’s physical, cognitive, and social development.
More than 1 in 5 preschool-age children enrolled with various healthcare monitoring programmes have been found to have a vision disorder.
Uncorrected vision problems can impair child development, interfere with learning, and even lead to permanent vision loss.
Early detection and treatment are critical.
Visual functioning is a strong predictor of academic performance in school-age children, and vision disorders of childhood may continue to affect health and well-being throughout the adult years.
Do Plan out a Vision Check Camp at your Institution.
Do send out the photographs/reportage/vision stats of the same to healthcare@rethinkindia.in along with the various other interventions/practices they have been carrying out on the frontiers of Child EyeCare….
Aarogyam Institute of Integrated Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in association with ReTHINK INDIA Institute would be conducting a Child EyeCare Symposium 2022 on August 31st - marking the closure of the Children’s Eye Health & Safety Month from 11 am onwards on https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0uc-6tqjgjGtIEmjpWEjGwWM8V4_U0CPMA.
All those Schools who would have fared well in coming out with ensuring a pro-active action on count of Child EyeCare would be felicitated on this solemn occasion.
